We keep a file on every individual receiving a complementary therapy treatment.

Each treatment is recorded with the date, type of treatment and any notes Kathryn Hewitt deems useful for her records.

A Client is free to request a copy of their file, and this must be put in writing.

Personal information about a client can only be passed on to another person or agency with the client’s   s written permission. The Client Information and Consent form collects the signature at the initial session.

Maintaining client confidentiality is extremely important to Inner Space Wellbeing however there are rare situations where Kathryn Hewitt is legally obliged to override this principle.

These include:

  • An assessment of danger to a client or another Person
  • A law, regulation, or request from a law enforcement agency.
  • A court order
  • A subpoena
  • A warrant
  • For the purpose of debt collection
  • Should such a situation arise, every attempt will be made to inform the client before the information is passed on.
